“Ocean Cloud”, Hai Van Pass, Vietnam
Connecting the cities of Danang and Hue, in the Central coast of Vietnam, the Dèo Hai Van (Ocean Cloud Pass) is known for being a
geographic and political boundary between ancient kingdoms; as a climatic divide between the tropical south and the subtropical north; and as a strategic military post during times of war, both ancient and modern. The 21 km long mountain pass is nowadays one of the most scenic routes in the country, owing its poetic name
to the mists that rise from the East Sea. And right there, Lang Co beach.
